Wyandotte County Lake Maternity Session | Gisela + Seth

Can we talk ADORABLE?! First time I’ve met Gisela and Seth and their Wyandotte County Lake Maternity Session and it felt more like hanging out with friends instead of a photo session. If I hadn’t have moved to Georgia I would have been blessed to probably photograph their wedding. I grew up being a Kansas wedding photographer and it normally turns into sessions with newborns. I can’t complain.

Gisela found me through a mutual friend and I know I’ll be seeing both of them in the future. Not only was their session loads of fun, but we also photographed in the lake I grew up in. Wyandotte County Lake is home to where I’d wake up at 4 a.m. with dad to go crawdad fishing before school, sledding during the winter, completed my hunter safety course in the dog park, and I know every shelter location from hours of driving around it.

This month sure gave us anxiety not knowing if it was going to snow on us… in April… but just enough blooms came out for their beautiful session and I couldn’t be happier with it. Their first baby boy is expected in a few weeks and he has some fun loving parents that’s for sure! Normally my maternity sessions don’t last very long but this one went over an hour because we couldn’t stop talking and joking around. I wish them all the happiness and a safe and magical delivery!
