It has finally happened. My little girl has been on this earth for one year. I’ve been thinking about her session since before she was born and it was a bittersweet moment when we were all done and cleaned up. I decided on a woodland smash cake theme to implement her daddy’s love for the outdoors and still keeping it dainty.
My little Maddie is the happiest baby and she is the light in my life. I never thought I could love a squishy bag of flesh like I love her. I had so much fun planning this and designing her outfit made custom from Barbara at Pretty Pink Ruffles. Barbara puts so much love into her outfits and I designed the session all around this romper.

She is a china doll! It’s safe to say we had more fun with the splash portion of her session. I think I’m going to add it to every cake smash no matter what! If you can’t get a good smile with the cake, you’re bound to get one with the bath.

While Maddie’s daddy is away I decided to take some video during the session so he could be a part of it. Worked out great so I could also put together a cute video. Makes me cry every time I watch it. Can you think of a more perfect song?! Let me know if you want to add in a video to your smash session. They are the best.
