Wedding Day Planning

There is one more incredibly important thing to do for your wedding day that normally isn’t looked at until a month before the words “I Do” and that’s Wedding Day Planning. Fortunately I love helping out brides form up these details and it helps all of your vendors as well as yourself on the day of the wedding. Like in Theatre, if you have done your job correctly, there should be no need to bother the director during the show. Same for a wedding coordinator and a bride. Plan a wedding day correctly and your phones can remain on silent without a hitch. How long things take is just one thing to consider when doing the planning. You must also consider if it’s an outdoor wedding, which season, what time of day is the ceremony, and what the sun plans on doing. Sometimes we don’t have time on our side. Maybe with the church or venue you’re getting married in, you can only have ceremonies at noon, or three.

I’ve written a blog showing off my perfect timeline for the wedding day Here. I’ve also written the same for my ideal Reception Timeline Here.

Some Tips

Here are some more great tips when looking at your wedding day schedule. The sun. Or how my military husband refers to it as “Bob”. No matter when Bob disappears the best time to always schedule the perfect photos outside is 2 hours before sunset. Many brides swoon over the soft backlit fairy light photos. To get this, you have to listen to your photographer. This time changes through the year. It may mean I need to grab you two during your reception. I work as fast as I can so your guests won’t know you’re gone. and it’s always be worth it.
