Well this has been a long time coming. I feel like I get to do a session with this amazing couple a few times a year for the last 6 years. Instead of just retyping my last post about this amazing family, you can catch up on them here. Now let’s talk about this squish named Carter! This Lees Summit Newborn session was one special event. Born June 10th and he has a proud and adorable big sister named Summer. You can see her newborn session here.

Like I said, I’ve photographed the Smith’s a lot. During our in home session, I have to remind myself to photograph him and not just cuddle with his huge cheeks. He was a dream to work with. Always works out when momma is on board the milk coma train. Following in his sister’s footsteps his nursery theme is nautical and I loved doing so many blues and grays for him. His sister wasn’t a fan of being wrapped but not Carter! Got to work out my new wrap techniques on him and he loved it. I’ve never sen the magic of wrapping work as well as it did on Mr. Carter.

This is hands down my absolutely favorite newborn photo now! It is adorable.
