I’ll never get tired of babies! Little Tim is no different. This Newborn Session in Leavenworth Kansas was perfect in it’s own way. I usually have a maternity session with the parents and get to know them before the baby arrives but it was just by luck and chance that Cori found me through the matrix that is the internet. She booked me and two days later I was in their house in Leavenworth. First thing I notice going into anyone’s home is if they have prints. Mainly because of my profession but it also gives your guests a look into your family. First thing I saw were these two amazing canvases above their fireplace. From their wedding was a single photo of each of them in their wedding attired with his Navy cap on, hiding their eyes. It was done so well I thought it was purchased art rather than images of them! Sorry for the side story but it’s a great example for all my families to print your sessions! 8×10’s don’t count.

Now onto this actual session. We didn’t get to photograph as much as I normally do but he was worth the wait. Once he was perfectly snuggled up it was easy to get photos with him and his big sister Ruthie. She was a hoot in herself. I hope everyone enjoys!
