This awesome Lees Summit Family session was one for the books! This family is sprinkled with clients I’ve had for weddings and maternity sessions. Sometimes we skip a step and introduce myself while they are expecting the best part of themselves. I met Sarah and Tyler through a previous client for their maternity session and they too have been a joy to photograph. Then Sarah introduced me to her further sister in law, Sierra who needed a wedding photographer. You can view their amazing wedding here.
We were all so nervous is was going to be hot as ever but we had a great breeze and a great location in some shade. So far I’ve had two session at the James A. Reed Wildlife Area and it’s turning into one of my favorite locations.
We know life has many milestones and family portraits should not end once your kids are passed elementary school. So that’s what the Hartman’s know and did. Not only photographing their kids, but their kids spouses and families as they grow is a magical thing. I look forward to many more growing family sessions with this group! Don’t they look fantastic? We spent some back and forth about what everyone should wear until Sierra jumped in and said, “Just wear our Royals Gear!” Couldn’t have ended up better.
